This particular one was played in the household as a young Blob and he remembers it being the album that sort of rung in the Christmas season for his family. We hope you enjoy the music. Seeing Kiss was an experience. We hope listening brings back the memories of crazy times and crazier decisions. Getting crazy for Christmas with Kiss.

Wednesday Dec 05, 2018
Wednesday Dec 05, 2018
Kingcow serves us up some early hip-hop from it very first hall of fame inductee in that category, Grandmaster Flash. Born in Barbados and growing up in the Bronx to a father who had an extensive record collection and a mother who pushed him toward electronics it as no wonder he became a DJ. Learning to cut, scratch and mix gave him the upper hand in a burgeoning music scene that was turning to an electronic sound. Developing and mastering his sound which is used even today in the DJ environment allowed him to work with some of the greatest in the business. Please enjoy this. I know we did.

Released by their former label the album was originally titled "Best of the Beach Boys Volume 3" and Mike Love said to wait and call it Endless Love. It was figured to have helped sell an additional 3 million copies. We hope you enjoy the surf sounds of the endless summer.

Episode 59: Billy Lee Riley / Funk Harmonica
Sunday Nov 25, 2018
Sunday Nov 25, 2018
Because this is turkey month the Blob chose his greatest turkey to display. This album side is truly not what it claims to be. When we think of funk we have many thoughts of what we might expect to hear, unfortunately for us Billy Lee Riley has no idea what funk meant in any sense of the word. Get through it is all we can suggest. Merry Thanksgiving.
