Released on 10 September 1979 by Atlantic Records at Atlantic Studios in New York, with additional recording and whole mixing taking place at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles this album. Climbing to number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and receiving a Platinum certification four months after it hit the stores. Due in large part to the single Dirty White Boy this album produced a number of hits. So don't let this be a foreign album any longer.

Today we bring you another sophomore release. Blob thought it might be fun to listen to early Aerosmith just prior to their breakout. Today we are listening to the 1974 release Get You Wings. This album, produced by Jack Douglas, was to be the beginning of a great relationship that would continue through their next four albums. Have much love and enjoy!

1999 was released in 1982. Princes fifth release but the first with The Revolution. 1999 was his breakout album scoring some commercial success with Little Red Corvette reaching #6 on the top 100. The title track 1999 reached #41 covering political anti-nuclear sentiments about proliferation at the time. This album preceeded Purple Rain. Give this a good listen as you will certainly hear what was to come from the talented and sexy Minnesotan.

1978 was the year, covers was the key. Interesting that this sophomore release from George Thorogood and the Destroyers would be all cover songs but if anyone could it would be this artist. Covering the greats is as much fun as a tribute to the likes of Elmore James, Bo Diddly, Hank Williams, Willie Dixon and the legendary Chuck Berry. Have fun with this I say, I say.

Here is some serious blues from one of the best. Sadly no longer with us this is a wonderful album highlighting some of his talents at the axe. Blues at its finest.
